Although fun has made itself the part of it, but the importance of routine diet is deviated to junk, processed and canned food items. People due to their hectic working schedules and fast life, have no time to cook food for themselves and their families. Various people have skipped the timing of cooking by ordering meals from hotels and restaurants. Some have chosen to live on junk and canned food.

Everybody needs a change in their routine to spice up their lifestyle. Eating processed food occasionally is perfectly fine, but in many cases, the change can be referred as going for a balanced diet. The number of people that come under the section of regular consumers of burgers, sandwiches and pizzas is unfaltering. But its not the mistake of people, the food itself is so attractive and delicious that nobody can resist it. But the question arises is, Are we supposed to eat this stuff? Or is it going to eat us?

Junk food is addictive, and has got the similar endangerments that the addiction of liquor and drugs cause. Teens and children generally get influenced easily with their exotic flavors and attractive packaging. These food items only help in satisfying hunger, nothing else. Their nutritional value is equal to zero. Processed and canned food consist of huge proportion of saturated fats, which only helps in adding up a fat layer in your body. Excessive consumption of junk food products can lead to obesity. Being overweight can increase the risk of getting heart attacks and other cholesterol associated disease.

Junk food has lot of salt in them; Salt works as a preservative which helps them to stay fresh for a day or two. Excessive amounts of salts are unhealthy for heart. Drinks and snacks are something that that people will come past for every now and then. The ingredients make them appealing but at the same time they are the most hazardous factors that can ruin your health. Various health hazards associated with consumption of junk food include stroke, high cholesterols levels, irregular blood pressure and various kidney probems. What makes a balanced diet boring is its appearance.

Some short term adverse effects may include lack of energy and stamina, junk food do not provide you with the essential nutrients that your body requires to carry on the day to day exertion. Although junk food are very much sufficing, they can worsen your immune system in the long run. Poor concentration is also traced as the major adverse effect of excessive consumption of processed and canned food. Fat accumulation then drops the blood circulation levels. Lack of vital oxygen and required nutrients can stale your brain cells. High cholesterol levels eventually strains liver damaging.

“Better to be late than never”. Switching your lifestyle by replacing the dietary factors by consuming a balanced diet can help you live a healthy life. What makes a balanced diet boring is its appearance. Try to make it look delicious by making various combinations of salads, to add up the taste experiment by indulging spices and flavors to diet that can make it look and taste exciting. Include lots of fruits in your diet which will add up a flavor and make you feel satisfied by having a complete delicious balanced diet.
