There are various types of cancers like blood, lung, bone marrow, breast etc. Cervical cancer is a type of malignant cancer that affects the cervical areas. It is a type of a cancer in which women are trapped. Cervical cancer shows symptoms at the advanced stage; in fact at the preliminary stages it is completely asymptomatic. Symptoms may include loss of appetite, fatigue, weight loss, heavy vaginal bleeding, pelvic pain, bone fracture and leaking of urine or faces from the vagina.

Cervical cancer develops from the cells lining in the cervical areas. This cancer is caused by numerous types of viruses including human papilloma virus (HPV). Generally these viruses get transmitted through sexual contact. In many the resistance powers prove their best in fighting with these viruses but in certain cases they lead to cancer. Women, who underwent many pregnancies, smoke for years together, use birth control pills for a longer duration and those with HIV infections have got the greater risks of getting triggered by.

It is a lengthy procedure; it may take years together for the normal cells in getting converted in to cancer cells. A PAP test is done as a source of examining the cervix cells. The cells are keenly examined under a microscope. Regular PAP tests and pelvic exams can help you from worsening the condition. A vaccine has been invented as a preventative measure of protecting the female reproductive organ from getting affected.

In the recent years various inventions keeping the technology in mind have been done. These treatments are the latest versions of curing cervical cancer.
